LOBONG is the name of our beautiful home. The name came up from the setting of our beautiful home. Being the only home that situated low down from the main street, the community peoples name us LOBONG. There have been many generation have been living here. Decided by our late grandparent with condition there was lot’s of male generation in the old home which made our late grand parent moved to this empty land which now known as LOBONG. Being Balinese family, relationship with the old home has to be kept even though there has been many generation has been settled in this home.
The LOBONG culinary experience is created by all the family members. With our long time hotels experienced and hospitality businesses, proud to introduce the culinary and culture experience to those who seek for an authentic Balinese experience during your great holiday in Bali paradise island. Begin your experience at a local market where your Family Host will purchase and explain the fresh herbs, spices, fruits and vegetables used in your class.
Start your afternoon with Bali coffee or Tea and fresh home made banana fritters ( Pisang Goreng ) . then off down to your cooking station for cooking.
This excursion is completely special since the entire experience created just for you. You will be picked up by our chef and begin your morning at the fresh local market outside Ubud town.
Our class is a hands on cooking class. You won’t sit down and watch peoples cooking but we will bring you directly how to prepare it from scratch.
It set in our home. There will be a great experience to understand the Balinese tradition and culture .
